《勇敢的心》第二部是部的续作。

《勇敢的心》第二部的续集，该剧以国文教员佟家儒为中心，讲述了一个普通、平凡的人在抗战年代里从对战事的漠不关心到逐渐运用自己的智慧对抗敌人，终将侵略者赶出国门的故事。该剧于2021年12月29日在爱奇艺、腾讯视频和优酷同步首播。

幕后制作：

2017年6月3日，该剧在上海开机。2018年1月16日，该剧在上海影视乐园顺利杀青。该剧在上海车墩影视城耗资千万元搭景。

剧中佟家儒居住的平安里、上班的魏中丞中学教室、日本特务的特高课、审讯室等重要场景全都是量身搭建，为本剧带来了真实质感。全剧组400多人更是在上海扎根228天，精心打磨每一个镜头，保证该剧的质量。

《勇敢的心2》由郭靖宇监制，柏杉、海涛、王永辉三位导演执导。光看拍摄班底就知道《勇敢的心2》是一部很稳定的“郭家班”出品的电视剧。

“郭家班”这些年来一直为观众们输出了不少精品电视剧。从当年的《铁梨花》、《打狗棍》到《大秧歌》每一部都带着“郭家班”浓重的烙印。

从这些电视剧中也能窥见“郭家班”打造电视剧的共同点：不使用“流量演员”，将经费省下来用于制作、重要配角都是“眼熟”的老戏骨出演。而这一次在《勇敢的心2》中也依旧延续了这个“优良传统”。

《勇敢的心 2》中杨志刚饰演的佟家儒是一个胆小甚至还有点懦弱的中学国文老师，一身长衫、一副圆框眼镜。

该剧着重刻画了佟家儒从 " 逃避 " 到 " 面对 " 的人性转变，他原本只想苟活乱世，后来意识到了自己作为人的使命，用他自己的方式在几年间与日寇坚持斗争，由一个文人变成了一个战士。

佟家儒的人生轨迹不只是他一个人的反转，更是整个抗战年代里所有知识分子挣扎和反抗的缩影。对于佟家儒这个角色，杨志刚直言：" 在我的年华遇到了的角色佟家儒，这一定是我从事此行业演得的一次，尽力了，无怨无悔。"
