幼儿教育是终生教育的起点,也是人格教育之关键期。心理学研究表明:0—6岁是孩子学习语言的关键期,孩子的语言发展大致经历三个阶段:语言感知阶段、语言理解阶段、语言表达阶段。在这个时期,成人善加引导,提供丰富的学习资源,营造适当的活动环境,以开启孩子潜在的多元智能,并健全孩子的人格特质。有关教育专家曾对幼儿在学习母语(普通话)的同时学习第二语言的孩子,其母语和第二语言学习的兴奋点几乎在脑部的同一个部位,而幼儿运用学母语的基础去学第二语言,就使第二语言的学习变得轻而易举。因此,我园本着充分把握孩子语言发展的关键期,使孩子接受多元化教育,开展了英语教学活动,使孩子用两种语言获取有益的经验并逐步学会英语的使用技巧。儿歌教学是幼儿园英语教学的一种,它能让孩子通过聆听、唱诵儿歌的形式,兴趣盎然地学习英语。下面,是我对幼儿园英语儿歌教学的一点粗浅的认识。

一、英语儿歌的特点及其意义:

英语儿歌以其内容丰富生动、语言浅显、节奏明快的特点深受幼儿的喜欢。符合幼儿的生理能力、心理特点,幼儿们朗诵起来琅琅上口,是一种活在孩子们口头上的英语文学。

首先,语言浅显。幼儿期是学习语言的关键期,此时的孩子英语语句简单,语法结构单纯,语汇贫乏。而语言浅显的英语儿歌把正确的语法、词汇和幼儿的口语结合起来形成优美的规范的幼儿英语口语,适合了幼儿语言发展的水平,能被幼儿理解和接受。英语儿歌中使用的词汇主要是名词,(动物、植物、交通工具等等),形容词(颜色、大小等),这些词反映的事物及其属性比较具体,契合幼儿的思维特点。

其次,形象具体可感。英语儿歌的语言特别强调形象性,它对于人和事物的形态感,色彩感,动作感描绘得特别突出,幼儿在朗诵儿歌时,如见其人,如闻其声,如触其物。如儿歌《Old MacDonald》:Old MacDonald had a farm. E-I-E-O, and on this farm had some chicks, E-I-E-O, and chick, chick, here, and chick,chick there. 第三,音韵和谐自然。英语儿歌的音韵悦耳和谐、节奏鲜明欢快,词汇的大量反复使用,不但能使幼儿产生愉悦感,并且能激发幼儿的学习情绪。

第四,富于动作感。幼儿期的孩子的思维主要是具体形象思维,具有直觉行动性思维的特点,因此,英语儿歌的动作性很强,孩子可以根据内容、节奏。边动作边朗诵,不但激发起了他们对学习儿歌的兴趣,而且还增加了对儿歌内容的理解,如儿歌《Up and down》:Up up stand up. Down down sit down. Up up hands up. Down down hands down. Up up feet up. Down down feet down.明快的节奏,富有动感的语言。身体、四肢的各种活动,不但使幼儿念起来兴趣盎然,而且增加了活动的趣味性。

二、英语儿歌的种类:

1、游戏歌。

游戏歌是配合游戏活动的儿歌,它伴随着孩子的游戏动作而吟唱,增加活动的趣味性和愉悦感。如儿歌:《One.Two.Three》:One,two,three—clap. One,two,three—clap. One,two,three—clap,clap,clap.One,two,three—stamp. One,two,three—stamp One,two,three—stamp,stamp,stamp. One,two,three—hush. One,two,three—hush. One,two,three—hush,hush,hush.幼儿一边朗诵儿歌,一边做身体动作。这不但丰富了游戏内容,提高了孩子游戏的兴趣,而且边玩边唱,还促进了幼儿对儿歌的理解。

2、数数歌。

数数歌把初步的数字概念和具体可感的形象结合起来,它不但能激发幼儿学习的兴趣,而且也初步培养了幼儿的数数概念。如儿歌:One little bear, walk,walk,walk. Two little bears, run,run,run. Three little bears,jump,jump,jump. Four little bears,sleep on the bed.这首儿歌不但榜资格互幼儿认识了英文数字,而且也是幼儿初步了解最基本的数的序列。

在英语儿歌教学中,教师为孩子创设条件,提供机会,引导孩子在与人、物、环境、材料等交互作用的过程中学习英语,发展听说能力。

1、全身反应法

全身反应法(Total Physica Response),我们简称TPR。它是指幼儿学习母语的过程,和幼儿学习母语一样,通过身体运动学习第二语言,它强调幼儿在学习语言过程中身体动作与所学语言相互协调。它是由美国加里福尼亚州州立大学心理学教授James Asher创立的,Asher指出,根据幼儿学习语言“理解先于开口的.规律”:“听——做动作”是全身反应法的最明显的特点。其次,言语输出没有严格的要求。第三,带有游戏性质。因此,它可以减少幼儿的学习负担,激发他们的学习欲望,培养他们愉快的学习情绪,提高学习的效率。全身教学法它符合幼儿活泼好动的特点,大大激发幼儿学习英语的兴趣。如在活动开始之前,组织孩子进行一系列的“Run !Jump ! Walk ! Fly !”的TPR活动,不但使孩子进行了有趣的身体运动游戏,而且提高了他们对学英语的兴趣,如在活动中,孩子们对活动不感兴趣了,教师适时插入一些TPR ,还可以引起幼儿的注意力,继续激发幼儿对英语的兴趣。

全身反应法的语言多以祈使句为主:如“Put up your hands.”“Roll the ball.”“Throw the ball.”“Catch the ball.”等等。教师发出命令,幼儿根据命令做出一系列的相应的动作:“滚球、拍球、扔球”等等。因此英语儿歌教学中那些祈使句都可以通过“TPR”来学习。如英语儿歌《One ,two , three ,play

兴趣是一种基本情绪状态,处于动机的最深水平,它可以驱使人去行动。美国的人格心理学家奥尔波特(G.W.Hllport)认为:人类有一种自主性功能,就是兴趣,儿童的反应是由这种内在动机驱使的。因此,为了激发孩子对英语儿歌教学的兴趣,为了有效的进行英语儿歌教学,我们把教学寓于游戏之中,让孩子在宽松、自由的氛围中,有兴趣地主动地学习。

首先,创设游戏情景。因为幼儿在情景中兴趣高,理解快,记得牢,我们要利用身边一切可利用的资源,进行活动。如我们幼儿园的场地上,一个个方形的花坛里种植着五颜六色的花,美丽的蝴蝶在花丛中飞舞,就象一个美丽的公园。在教授英语儿歌《Butterfly》时,我就利用身边这个自然资源来进行活动,《Butterfly》:Butterfly, butterfly, the butterfly goes up. Butterfly, butterfly, the butterfly goes down. Butterfly, butterfly, the butterfly goes all round. 孩子们观察蝴蝶是如何飞舞的,一会儿向上飞,一会儿向下飞,一会儿停在花朵上,孩子们在学儿歌的过程中,边吟唱边在花丛中学蝴蝶飞舞状,他们且歌且舞,兴趣盎然。

自然界的景色不但能让孩子身临其境,增加学习的兴趣,而且通过与环境的相互作用,他们还学会了经验的迁移,进行了自编儿歌。Bee, bee, the bee goes up. Bee, bee, the bee goes down. Bee, bee, the bee goes all round.

其次进行角色扮演,教师创设模拟情景,幼儿扮演儿歌中的角色,通过表情、动作来理解和表达所学的内容,如儿歌:One one one, little dog run. Two two two, cats see you. Three three three, birds on the trees. Four four four, mice on the floor.在游戏过程中,幼儿带上小动物头饰,根据儿歌内容分别扮演不同的小动物,孩子们边学边玩,不但学习了英语,而且也满足了他们模仿的乐趣。

3、操作法

操作法是指引导孩子运用多种感觉器官参与活动。如用手摸,用耳听,用眼看,用嘴尝等等,让孩子在看看、玩玩、尝尝的过程中学习英语儿歌。在英语教学中,教师可以为孩子提供多种的刺激,引导孩子充分调动自己的感官,以不同角度多方位地感知、理解。如儿歌:《I love a duckling》“Duckling, duckling, duckling! Quack, quack , quack.. Duckling, duckling, duckling! Swim, swim, swim. Duckling, duckling, duckling! I love you.”孩子在学习这首儿歌时,我为孩子提供了形象逼真的长毛绒鸭子,让孩子观察鸭子的摸样、颜色,谈一谈鸭子的本领,抱一抱鸭子,画一画鸭子,涂一涂颜色,最后把自己画的鸭子送到小河里去,让它学本领。幼儿在动口、动手、动脑的综合性活动中获得了英语学习的经验。

总之,幼儿园的英语儿歌教学,首先应该是直觉教学,听说领先,动作引导;其次,是体验教学,让孩子在玩中学,使孩子体会到英语学习的趣味性、生活味和亲和力;最后是心理教学,让孩子在感兴趣的游戏中做到玩与学的统一。

四、英语儿歌教学的实践反思:

1、遵循学习规律:幼儿园英语儿歌教学要遵循幼儿学习母语的一般规律,结合幼儿心理特点和生活特点进行教学,先听后说,多听再说,理解为先。

2、内容的适宜性:应根据孩子的生理特点和心理特点,选择内容丰富生动,语言浅显、节奏明快、音韵悦耳和谐的儿歌。

3、语言的规范性:幼儿是通过模仿获得语言的,因此教师特别要注意语言示范的规范性,提供给孩子的语言必须正确、清晰而自然。

4、活动的趣味性:生动活泼的多样化的学习形式,贴近孩子生活的学习内容,是保证活动的快乐性、趣味性的有效途径。

5、重视环境的创设与利用:首先,为幼儿创设一个耳濡目染的认知环境,如在活动室创设双语角,适时播放英语儿歌,选播英语碟片等等。其次,要为幼儿创设读读讲讲的听说环境。第三,教师有意识的与孩子共同进行一些生活化的、通俗、短小、琅琅上口的英语儿歌的创编,让幼儿在交往中,活动中自由地练习、运用。
